Paint correction in Ibiza
Careful machine polishing to improve clarity, depth and selected visible marks in the paint. Every job begins with an assessment, because what can safely be improved depends entirely on the condition of the finish.
Paint that looks dull, swirled or tired under direct sunlight.
Improved clarity and reflection, with selected imperfections reduced.
Locations offering a stable, sheltered and well-lit working space.
Refining the finish, not repainting it
Paint correction removes an extremely fine amount of clear coat to level the surface, which is what makes reflections sharper and colour appear deeper. Swirl marks, wash marks and light hazing are the imperfections that typically respond best.
It is important to be clear about the limits. Correction is not repainting and not a repair. Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat, stone chips and damage below the safe working depth cannot be polished out, and attempting it would do more harm than good.
Because of that, we assess before we commit. We look at the paint, consider its condition and the safe available depth, and then explain what level of improvement is realistic. Under Ibiza sun, honest expectations matter: strong light shows everything, including what has been left behind.
What correction work can include
Final scope is agreed after reviewing the vehicle, so treat these as possible inclusions rather than a fixed package.
The finish is examined under suitable light to identify the defects present and their depth.
The surface is thoroughly cleaned first, since polishing a contaminated panel causes further marring.
A small area is refined first to establish the safest effective combination before continuing.
Staged polishing across the agreed panels, adjusted to the paint rather than applied uniformly.
A finishing pass where needed to maximise gloss and remove any haze from earlier work.
A sealant, wax or coating can be applied so the refined finish is not left unprotected.
Conditions correction work needs
Correction requires good lighting, shelter and a stable working environment. Polishing paint in direct island sun is not appropriate, so a garage or covered space at a villa, residence, hotel or marina is usually where this work happens.
Managed locations may require permission in advance, and access to water or electricity may be requested. Not every stage is possible at every location, and we would rather tell you that before booking than compromise the result.
Prefer not to have the work done on site? We can also collect the vehicle, carry out the service and return it to you afterwards. Most services take around two to five hours depending on how dirty the car is, and we confirm collection and return times in advance.
From enquiry to appointment
Send the make and model, where the car is on the island and when the visit would suit you.
We review the request and suggest the service that fits the vehicle, its condition and the result you want.
We agree the scope, the working area and anything the location needs to permit beforehand.
We come to the vehicle at the confirmed time while you get on with your day.
Correction, or a different service?
Choose correction when the paint is clean but still looks dull, hazy or swirled, and you want the finish itself improved rather than simply cleaned.
If the car has not been properly cleaned recently, or the goal is protection rather than appearance, another service is the better place to start.
- sealing the refined paint afterwards — the natural next step once the finish has been improved.
- a full inside-and-out refresh — if the whole vehicle needs attention rather than the paint alone.

Before we come to you
No. Correction improves swirls, wash marks and light hazing. Scratches that have gone through the clear coat, stone chips and deeper damage cannot be safely polished out, and we will say so after inspecting the paint.
No. It refines the existing clear coat rather than adding new paint. Anything beyond the safe available depth is a bodywork or refinishing matter, not a polishing one.
That depends on the paint condition, its hardness and the safe working depth available. We assess the vehicle and explain a realistic outcome before any work is agreed.
Not properly in direct sun. We need shelter, controlled lighting and a stable environment, which usually means a garage or covered area.
It is worth considering. A sealant, wax or ceramic coating helps preserve the refined finish and makes ongoing maintenance easier.
After reviewing the vehicle, its paint condition, the location and the result you want. Published consumer prices include IVA.
