Ceramic coating in Ibiza
A protective layer applied to prepared paint to add depth, resist contamination and make routine cleaning easier. Coating is assessment-led: we look at the finish first and only recommend it when the paint is a suitable starting point.
Cars kept long-term on the island, or vehicles you would rather not clean as often.
A deeper, easier-to-maintain finish with better resistance to everyday contamination.
Locations with a suitable, sheltered working space, confirmed in advance.
Protection that starts with preparation
A coating sits on top of the paint and changes how the surface behaves. Water and dust release more easily, contamination has less to hold onto, and the finish generally looks deeper. In practice, the biggest benefit here is that washing becomes quicker and less frequent.
The result depends almost entirely on preparation. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so the paint has to be properly cleaned, decontaminated and, where appropriate, refined before anything is applied. That preparation is often the larger part of the work.
We are deliberately careful with expectations. A ceramic coating is not permanent, not scratch-proof and not a replacement for washing. It is a maintenance advantage with a finite lifespan, and how long it performs depends on the product used, the vehicle, where it is kept and how it is looked after.
What a coating project can include
Final scope is agreed after reviewing the vehicle, so treat these as possible inclusions rather than a fixed package.
An inspection of the finish and its condition to decide whether coating is appropriate at all.
A staged process to remove bonded residue so the surface is genuinely clean before application.
Selected polishing may be recommended first, since a coating will preserve existing imperfections.
Panels wiped down and prepared so the coating can bond to bare, residue-free paint.
Applied panel by panel in controlled conditions, with curing time respected before the car is used.
Clear advice on how to wash and maintain the vehicle so the coating performs as intended.
Where coating can be carried out
Coating is the most condition-sensitive service we offer. It needs shelter, stable temperature, low dust and enough undisturbed time for the product to cure, which rules out open, exposed parking in the middle of the day.
A private garage or covered space at a villa, residence, hotel or marina is often workable. Managed locations may require permission, and access to water or electricity may be requested. We confirm honestly whether your location is suitable before booking, because not every treatment is possible everywhere.
Prefer not to have the work done on site? We can also collect the vehicle, carry out the service and return it to you afterwards. Most services take around two to five hours depending on how dirty the car is, and we confirm collection and return times in advance.
From enquiry to appointment
Send the make and model, where the car is on the island and when the visit would suit you.
We review the request and suggest the service that fits the vehicle, its condition and the result you want.
We agree the scope, the working area and anything the location needs to permit beforehand.
We come to the vehicle at the confirmed time while you get on with your day.
Is coating the right step now?
Coating suits vehicles staying on the island and owners who want upkeep to be simpler over time. It is a longer-term decision rather than a quick improvement.
If the paint currently looks dull, swirled or marked, refining it first is usually the better order of work, since coating will hold that appearance in place.
- improving the paint before it is sealed — so the coating protects a finish you are happy with.
- gentle ongoing maintenance afterwards — the safest way to keep a coated car performing well.

Before we come to you
No. A coating has a finite lifespan that varies with the product, the vehicle, where it is kept and how it is maintained. It should be treated as long-term protection, not a permanent one-off treatment.
It is not scratch-proof. A coating adds a sacrificial layer and improves resistance to everyday contamination, but it will not prevent physical damage from stones, careless washing or contact.
Sometimes. A coating preserves the surface it is applied to, so if there are visible swirls or dullness we will usually recommend refining the paint first. We advise after assessing the vehicle.
Only where conditions allow. We need shelter, low dust, a stable environment and enough undisturbed curing time. We will tell you plainly if your location is not suitable.
Gently and consistently. We give aftercare guidance with the work, and a regular careful wash is the best way to keep the finish performing.
The coating needs curing time before the car is used, and the exact period depends on the product and conditions. We confirm this before the appointment so you can plan around it.
